Brian Hamilton(Ganjier Student)
Aloha everyone. I am a northern California native who currently resides in the San Francisco Bay area. I am a lifelong musician and a tradesman.
I began to grow cannabis seriously in 2004. I was using a hydroponic ebb and flow system. As a member of a local cannabis, cooperative, I was one of a few who provided medicine for club members and patients. As the price per pound began to decline, I was forced to shut down my operation and take a hiatus from growing personally. On and off throughout the years, I have helped friends to grow their plants outside with moderate success.
In 2019 I decided to start growing again at a friends property. During the next couple years, I immersed myself in all things cannabis. With the help of Google, YouTube, and a nose for nonsense I was able to learn many things I never knew about this amazing plant or how to grow it. I also began to develop a desire to start breeding cannabis and stabilize those lines.
I am also a respected member of a worldwide community of growers known as the DGC. It is a website, podcast and discord server where more experienced growers like myself can help newer growers with advice or issues they may have.
I also started creating content for social media and helping people in the Instagram community. I have developed a reputation as an educator and have appeared on several cannabis podcasts as well.
My gravitation towards the Ganjier program was a natural evolution. Many of the aspects of cannabis that I had been researching for myself were a part of the curriculum. I had also been following many of the council members who created this program.
I have also been delving into the world of regenerative agriculture and farming techniques such as Jadam or KNF practices. I am implementing some of the things I have learned in our vegetable garden this year. I hope to eventually use my own natural fertilizers on my indoor cannabis operations.
This has been an amazing journey so far. I have made friends from all over the world and I can’t wait to see what comes next. I invite you to come along and share my experiences. We can teach and learn from each other. Aloha 🤙🏼
